Miami, FL - Prince Royce’s self-titled debut album has reclaimed the #1 spot at the top of the Latin album chart 73 weeks after its release, an unprecedented achievement for a developing Latin artist.

“Prince Royce” which debuted at #15 on March 15, 2010, was in the Top 20 by June and then reached the Top 10 in September of the same year.

In the last week of September 2010 the album reached the Top 5 and has remained in the Top 5 position ever since, with the exception of one week in which it charted at #6. In April of 2011, the album climbed to the #1 spot in album sales, 58 weeks after its release. This was repeated last month, 67 weeks after the release; and now, once again at 73 weeks.

The phenomenal success of Prince Royce is unprecedented in the industry. Not only has his album been certified Double Platinum by the RIAA in the United States and Puerto Rico, but the 22-year-old also earned the #1 song in the country with his second single “Corazon Sin Cara” (written by the artist himself).

In the last year and a half, he has had two sold out tours in Europe and one in the United States, and recently he was invited by Enrique Iglesias to be a special guest on his fall 2011 tour of North America, which kicks off on September 22, 2011.

Prince Royce has garnered a 2010 Latin Grammy® nomination (for Best Tropical Contemporary Album), three 2011 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, four 2011 Latin Billboard Awards, and just last week, became the biggest winner at Premios Juventud 2011 with four awards.

Via a venture between Top Stop Music and Atlantic Records, Prince Royce has entered into an exclusive, long-term, worldwide recording deal with Atlantic Records for all future English and Spanish albums.
